“More than 2.1 billion people have gained access to improved drinking water sources since 1990, exceeding the MDG target. While almost 2 billion more people now have access to proper sanitation than in 1990, 2.5 billion still do not have access to toilets or latrines.” source: United Nations
In partnership with London based NGO Pump Aid, Inspira Hotels is sponsoring the construction of water pumps and sanitation infrastructures in sub-Saharan Africa. Five pumbs have been co-financed and installed in villages of Malawi.
Inspira, hand in hand with Pump Aid - Water for Life
As part of our efforts to reduce the CO2 footprint, Inspira Boutique Hotel has chosen to offer filtered water served in recycled glass bottles to their clients. Although this water is provided free of charge in the rooms and common areas, Inspira charges a symbolic price of €2.50 for the water consumed in the restaurant and bar. Revenues are channeled to support the projects of Pump Aid - Water for Life. We take sustainability beyond borders!
